A Letter from Michael’s Mailbag

Michael recently received the following letter regarding the BC Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Program which he would like to share with you:

 

Hello,

As Surrey parents we would like to thank you for creating BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutritional Program. This program makes so much sense on so many levels, we hope it is just the beginning of smart thinking.

As voters we are often disillusioned, so when something comes along that really makes sense, hope is renewed. We own a Canadian apparel factory and create our corporate wear right here in BC. We know the importance of buying Canadian, and especially, BC – made products. This can help buffer us from the types of crises seen in the Eurozone and the US.

A program that benefits childrens’ health and local agriculture – an excellent way to grow both of our most important resources!
